Description
Suncorp Stadium provides Brisbane and south-east Queensland with a 52,500 plus seat capacity, state-of-the art, world-class stadium able to accommodate a range of uses including:
* Rugby League - annual State of Origin Series; ARL Test Matches; Ergon Energy Broncos home game fixtures in the National Rugby League competition;
* Rugby Union - annual ARU Test Matches; host venue for 9 games (including 2 quarter finals) of Rugby World Cup 2003;
* Soccer - international and other major soccer matches; and
* Concerts
Site Area
The site area is 7.42 hectares. The Stadium itself is built on 85,000 m2 and the bus station about 7,000m2.
The playing surface is 136 metres x 82 metres and features Strathayr turf.
Stadium Capacity
* 5,039 Stadium member seats;
* 890 "open" corporate box seats;
* 1,500 corporate suite seats;
* 44,303 general public seats;
* 228 wheelchair positions;
* 228 escort seats;
* 312 enhanced amenity seats.
Roof Coverage
75% of all Stadium seating is covered to the drip line of the Stadium roof.
Dining Capacity
A total of 2,196 fine dining spaces are provided within the Stadium.
They include:
* 780 seat Stadium Members' Dining Room;
* 320 seat Paddington Room;
* 320 seat Milton Room;
* 2 x 150 seat Skyline Lounges;
* 2 x 78 seat In-Goal Clubs;
* 1 x 90 Northern Terrace Grill;

Transport and Supporting Infrastructure
* 13 bay bus station located at the Milton Road end of the Stadium;
* 1.7 kilometres of upgraded pedestrian walkways;
* 280 metres of elevated walkways.
Construction
The Stadium redevelopment utilised the following materials (approximate only):
* 40,000m3 of concrete;
* 17 kilometres of pre-cast concrete seating plats;
* 1,330 tonnes of main roof steel;
* 19 kilometres of roof purlins;
* 50,000 bricks;
* 47 kilometres of timber battens;
* 10,000m2 of glass;
* 10,000m2 of metal cladding;
* 11,000m2 of carpet;
* 24,000m2 of suspended ceilings;
* 15,000 litres of paint.
Your Suncorp Stadium event ticket entitles you to travel free, to and from matches, on the Queensland Rail Citytrain rail and Brisbane Transport bus networks. Simply present your event admission ticket for verification to rail and bus staff as you board their services. Remember, no event ticket - no free travel! This free travel offer applies from 9:00 am to the last scheduled service on game day, and excludes QR Trainlink services.
BRISBANE TRANSPORT SERVICES
Patrons catch regular timetabled services. In addition, special shuttle bus services from the City, Carindale, Eight Mile Plains/Mt Gravatt (Garden City), Chermside and The Gap run direct to the Stadium.
To the game: Special shuttle services will run at regular intervals for 2 hours before kick-off.
From the game: At the end of the game, patrons should make their way to their bus departure location. For a one hour period, high frequency bus services will operate.
QR CITYTRAIN SERVICES
Milton and Roma Street are the main railway stations for patrons travelling to and from Suncorp Stadium. Patrons in wheelchairs or with a walking disability should travel to/from Roma Street Station, then connect with a shuttle bus to/from the Stadium.
To the game: Patrons can catch regular, timetabled services to either Roma Street or Milton Stations.
From the game: Additional services to those scheduled will be provided on all lines to meet post-match demand.
Restricted Parking
On event days, parking restrictions will apply in the local area surrounding the Stadium. Fifteen minute parking limits will apply in most of the restricted areas. On-the-spot fines will be issued to offending motorists.
